Terms of Business
All work will be carried out according to the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. Technicians will be qualified to City and Guilds standard for the Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
A competent person shall be provided by the customer to meet the test technician, advise on layout of the premises and ensure the availability of appliances for inspection and testing. Previous records and tests must be made available to the test technician before testing begins.
No liability for injury, loss or damage shall be accepted for appliances that are not made available or are inaccessible during the agreed test/inspection period.
The customer shall ensure that any critical information or data has been protected/backed up prior to the start of inspection and testing.
Our insurance provides cover for damage to customers' equipment and public liability. No liability is accepted for business interruption, loss of data or business information, losses to business related services or loss to business profits.
Prices quoted are correct for the vast majority of premises. Occasionally non-standard situations give rise to a far greater degree of difficulty than normal e.g. extensive use of mains extension leads in offices instead of provision of power direct to individual desks. The right to charge a premium for non-standard installations is reserved.
